Guilty Pleasure Saturday #7 – Adina Howard “Freak Like Me”
“Freak Like Me” was the perfect single for one-hit wonder Adina Howard.
Each Saturday we’ll feature an admittedly cheesy or questionably tasteful song is featured as a guilty pleasure.
“Freak Like Me” was the perfect single for one-hit wonder Adina Howard.
Most late 1990’s pop music was lamentable dreck to me. However Mandy Moore’s ‘Candy’ was the rare pop song from the era I embraced (though not too loudly)
“Kickstart My Heart” by Motley Crue has been a shot of audio adrenaline for Randy W. Hall for going on 26 years now. It still kicks ass!
The best song Hall & Oates never wrote. It has it all. Don’t act like you don’t like it.
For this week’s Guilty Pleasure we go back to the unforgettable “Rhythm of the Night” when DeBarge ruled the pop airwaves. Just watch the damn video and try not to sing along 🙂
Our second Guilty Pleasure Saturday song comes from one-album wonder Chingy from his 2003 debut “Jackpot” where he made the highly catchy ‘Holidae In’ with legend Snoop Dogg and his mentor Ludacris.
On Saturday’s from here-on-out I’ll feature one of my favorite guilty pleasures (musically of course) and occasionally try to explain myself. This mega-hit from 1991 Paula Abdul’s “Rush Rush” is one of the guiltiest.
