Since House of Pain only has one really good album of songs this Tuesday we spotlight Everlast’s pre-House of Pain project Rhyme Syndicate that Dan spoke of in the podcast. Let’s just say it’s a good thing that he went the H.O.P. route.

House of Pain – Part One. Episode 022. House of Pain’s self-titled debut is three guys delivering the hip-hop goods.
As evidenced by his appearance performing the song on ‘Muppets Tonight’, ‘Starfish & Coffee’ by Prince off of his 1987 has a child-like quality about it. But that doesn’t stop it from being awesome!
Detroit’s own Eminem is featured here at Dandy Classic Track of the Day for his outstanding “Stan” which is fan fiction-meet’s ‘Criminal Minds’-meet’s warning and is as good as hip-hop storytelling gets.
With the release of 1991’s “Loveless” LP My Bloody Valentine created a masterpiece, even if they bankrupted their label, Creation, in the process. At least they have “When You Sleep” as comfort :).
